Job Purpose:

Maintains environmental conditions by installing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment; primarily responsible for responding to service calls.

Duties:

• Independently service compressors, heat exchangers, coils, accumulators, outdoor units, humidifiers, condensate pumps and electronic air cleaners
• Troubleshoot and repair major HVACR parts such as refrigerator leaks, motors, contractors, transformers, thermostats
• Tests and repairs environmental systems by operating the systems, identifying malfunctions, repairing or replacing sealants, parts and components
• Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs as needed.
• Documents actions by completing equipment records
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; fully complies with legal regulations
• Updates job knowledge by staying abreast of current industry trends and best practices

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of verifiable HVAC experience
• Clean driving and criminal record (background check will be performed) with a reliable form of transportation
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and climb ladders without difficulty.
